Hello!

Hello and welcome to Impact Tuition. My name is Jacinta Conway, and I love learning. I am intrinsically motivated to learn, and to help others learn too.

I have been teaching in schools since 2002, and ten years ago, I developed an interest in learning difficulties. I began to wonder… why was learning sometimes harder for some and why does it take longer to learn the same thing as others? So I spent many years doing intensive courses to improve my knowledge and instructional strategies to enhance my teaching of literacy and mathematics. I learned how to teach so learners could learn. This led me down a path of the science of learning, and about five years ago, I went back to university and completed a Masters in Learning Interventions, focusing on Specific Learning Difficulties.

I founded Impact Tuition to create a place where learners, who needed more instruction and more time, could learn.

Our Mission

My mission for Impact Tuition is to make a difference to people’s lives by enabling learning for all. We assess children for specific learning difficulties in reading, writing and mathematics and then recommend and provide interventions to support and accelerate learning.
